CA Healthy Kids Survey
(CHKS)
The California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) is a comprehensive anonymous response survey that addresses
-school climate,
-school connectedness,
-health risks and behaviors, and
-youth resiliency.
It will be administered to 9th and 11th-grade students in March 2024. Parent/Guardian notices were mailed out in January 2024. Parents/Guardians may submit the non-participation request to their designated high school main office.
The CHKS is part of a comprehensive data-driven decision-making process that helps school sites and district improve student learning environments and it is aligned with the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) requirements.
